- Brett Wm. NelsonBrett is the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Kensington Financial Group. Prior to founding Kensington in 2003, Brett served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Geneva Management, Inc. Geneva Management provided financial and real estate services to prominent NASCAR drivers and service arrangements to Disney, M&M Mars, Mattel, Action Performance, Upper Deck, and No Fear. He served as a member of the Board of Directors for Wide Open Performance Wear, Inc. and Track Gear. Before that, Brett was a Vice President with Wachovia Bank in the Wealth Management Division. He was responsible for creating and structuring the Sports Management Division for Wachovia Bank. Brett received his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Law from Illinois State University.
- Kenneth B. Brown, CPAChief Financial Officer, Kenny is one of the founding partners with Kensington Financial Group. He is also a managing partner with Brown, Jenkins, Oneyear and Associates which offers a full array of accounting and business advisory services. Kenny founded the firm in 1996. Prior to founding Brown, Jenkins, Oneyear and Associates, he was with Dixon Odom, CPA’s. He has been in the accounting business for 18 years. Kenny received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
- Nick NelsonNick is the Chief Compliance Officer with Kensington Financial Group. He also currently serves as the Mayor for the Village of Clemmons. Before being elected, Nick served as Mayor Pro Tem for the Clemmons Village Council, the Planning Board for the city of Clemmons, where he has served on the Zoning Board of Adjustments and Stormwater Advisory Board as well. Before coming to The Kensington Financial Group, he gained experience as a systems administrator with Geneva Management, Inc. He also worked for the Honorable Charles Taylor as a congressional legislative research assistant. Nick attended Embry Riddle Aeronautical University where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Aeronautical Studies, and minored in Business, Air Traffic Control, and Psychology.
